Formerly Homeless Seniors: Out of the 8178 units, 28 apartments are reserved exclusively for formerly homeless seniors who meet the qualifications set by the LA County Department of Health Services programs. Affordable Housing Program: Vermont Villas provides an affordable housing program which is available for individuals and families with moderate incomes. This program allows qualified residents to enjoy rents below the market rate. However, it is important to note that the program is not a subsidized housing program, as each resident is responsible for paying the full amount of rent every month. Income Eligibility: Rental amounts are based on pre-set income limits in the geographic area, and not on individual household income. To be eligible, your total household 'gross' income must be lower than the pre-set income limit for the area. Maximum Income Restrictions: Eligibility for the affordable housing program is subject to maximum income restrictions.
