This spacious and bright apartment with hardwood floors, high ceilings and a fantastic view from both the living room and the balcony is available for short or long term rent. Sorry but no pets. The apartment is 800 sq ft, one bedroom and one bath, nice hardwood floors, a huge walk-in closet, private entrance and balcony (second floor). The unit has central AC, heat, basic appliances (fridge, microwave, oven, kettle, etc.), and furniture (bed, sofa bed, table & chairs). It is street parking but the spot right in front of the house is usually reserved for the tenant. Nobody on the block will park there. It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood within walking distance to Bayou St John, Canal Street (streetcar), Tulane Ave (busses to downtown as well as to the airport), to Bayou St John, Lafitte Greenway, and to Whole Foods, Coffee Science as well as to music venues (Zony Mash, Chickie Wah Wah, Dmac's, and Broadside), and many restaurants and bars such as Bayou Beer Garden, Wrong Iron, Finn McCool's and many more. It is also in short biking (and even walking) distance to LSU and Tulane Medical Center and there are direct busses to these places. It is also in a short ride to Tulane Uptown campus.
