The Broadmoor Apartments were built in 1929 as an apartment hotel with a tearoom and service room. It was the largest apartment project ever in the Tacoma area at the time. Often called an art-deco showpiece, the Broadmoor consists of 76 units with original parquet flooring, mahogany doors, and stunning views of the Puget Sound. The historic structure features an off-street courtyard with an iconic outdoor fountain. Inside, there is an original elevator as well as newer on-site laundry facilities.
