please note: this is a short term seasonal rental for a month or til spring for travelers , workers , artist etc Sweet Mountain Abode: If you consider yourself a tough outdoors nature lover who enjoys facing the seasons and the challenge of montana winters , this may be perfect for you. You might want a 4 Wheel Dr. though to navigate the uphill driveway in winter. Otherwise The 18miles from Helena is fast .This dry cabin in winter ( and cold running water in summer)is small,furnished, and shares a communal bath/shower house with other guest who may be renting other units ( this is a seasonal abnb compound ) . Lucky for cabin renters the bathroom is 12 ft through the side door and enclosed breezeway! Other areas on the property are also shared spaces ie patios etc.. An application / back ground and credit check fee may be charged and rental insurance Required( cheap when combined w/ auto ins.) NOTE: this is a seasonal 1-6month lease which may end in late oct 2023. There is no wifi But if you have T-Mobile, AT&T, and cricket you could stream up here. Verizon does not work up here!. !Renter needs to furnish their own firewood for stove which the owner can sell you or you can collect on property. There is also an electric small heater but any power bills over $50 will be charged to Renter the following month! (We are Currently considering installing a new Mr. Buddy propane heater instead of using the portable electric space heater. The Renter however will have to purchase their own propane and firewood. ) Short term seasonal rental:1 month trial period then month to month ending in may 2024 renter pays electric over $50 and furnished their firewood .
