Nestled along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, this furnished beachfront condo offers modern, stylish, and open-concept living with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 2,071 sqft., fully stocked kitchen, stunning beachfront views and access. It includes a mini office, dining room with beach views, patio with BBQ grill, fire pit and sitting area, beach gear, board games, complimentary coffee/tea, Smart TV with streaming services, utilities and cleaning services every two weeks. It is pet-friendly with prior approval and $100 pet fee. There is onsite parking lot parking for 2-3 cars and laundry room. This is a second-floor condo in a three-story building. On the third floor is an identical condo for rent and on the first floor is a garage used for storage. This unit will be available for mid-term rental Nov. 1- Feb. 29. Background/credit check with $35 application fee. There is a $600 security deposit which is refundable if no damages or extra cleaning is needed. If interested, please email us and we can provide more information. It is located in Willoughby Spit Beach, Norfolk VA. It's close to I-64 highway, post office, Harris Teeter, restaurants and bars. It's centrally located between Virginia Beach, downtown Norfolk and Williamsburg. Owners live on site. 1. Rent. Monthly rent to be paid by Renter to Homeowner is $2,800 per month, due upon booking the house rental. Rent will be submitted by electronic payment apps agreed upon with homeowner. 2. Security deposit. The Roommate will pay Homeowner a security deposit of $600.00 as security for payment of any default of this Roommate Rental Agreement or any damage, other than ordinary wear and tear, to the residence caused by the roommate. This deposit cannot be treated as the last month's rent under this agreement. The Security Deposit will be returned to Roommate within 7 DAYS FOR DEPOSIT RETURN of termination of this Roommate Rental Agreement, less any deductions for amounts due to Roommate, with an accompanying itemized statement explaining any deductions. 3. Utilities. All utilities services for the residence, to include water, electricity, gas, cable/satellite, garbage, and WiFi usage are included in paid rent. Utilities must not exceed $100.00 more than normal usage in gas/electricity/water by renter. Normal utility usage has been calculated based on prior months of rental services. If extra usage is incurred, costs will be assessed and calculated, and renter will be charged according to usage. The dates of service for these utility bills will determine whether they fall within the term of this Roommate Rental Agreement, not the date of receipt of the bills. 4. Living arrangements. Renter will have exclusive use of entire house and designated parking spaces (subject to reasonable access by Homeowner for purposes of house maintenance or cleaning). Renter should clean any area used during their stay. If purposeful or accidental destruction of furniture or room area occurs, roommate will be billed for damage. 5. Trash disposal. To avoid insects and pests, condo trash bags and recycling bins should be brought out to large outdoor trash receptacle in parking area behind backyard of the property. 6. Guests. House occupancy can host 6 guests minus renter. Guests are allowed but must be in presence of renter while in residence at all times. The guest or guests may not stay longer than two nights consecutively without permission of the Homeowner. 7. Drug use. Renter will not engage in any illegal use of drugs in or around the residence and will be respectful of the Homeowner and neighbors with respect to any legal use of drugs or alcohol. 8. Pets. Pets are allowed with prior approval and a $100 one-time pet fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture. You must pick up after them in the yard or any areas where on the premises where they drop feces. 9. Cleaning responsibilities. Renter will be responsible for keeping the house in clean and sanitary state. Renter will agree to allowing property cleaners in to clean every two weeks. 10. Firearms. Firearms or other lethal weapons are prohibited on the premises unless coordinated and approved by owner. 11. Termination of agreement. Roommate may terminate this Roommate Rental Agreement by giving 30-days advance written notice of intent to terminate. Additionally, in the event that homeowner believes the roommate has defaulted on their obligations under this agreement, they will give the other party written notice stating what the claimed default is and providing three business days for correction of the issue. If the issue is not resolved, then the party can consider this agreement in default. When the tenancy under this Agreement ends, Roommate is required to do the following: Empty and clean Roommate's exclusive-use areas such that it is clean, sanitary, and in good condition, pay any outstanding rent or utility reimbursements due to home owner, and provide home owner with a forwarding address for purposes of return of security deposit or other necessary communications. 12. No Assignment. This Roommate Rental Agreement cannot be assigned to any other person. 13. Parking. There is one parking space assigned to renter and 2 guest parking spaces available as well. Vehicles must have a valid state license, state inspection sticker, current County tax sticker and in drivable condition. A vehicle cannot be left unattended or abandoned or will run the risk of receiving a fine. 14. General terms. In the unlikely event that there would ever be a legal action relating to this Roommate Rental Agreement, this document will be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Virginia and the venue of any dispute over this Agreement will be in the County of Fairfax in the State of Virginia. If any portion of this Roommate Rental Agreement would be held illegal, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be considered ineffective only to the extent of that invalidity without invalidating the entire Roommate Rental Agreement.
