As part of the application, you will be required to provide the following: 1) rental history (including contact information for prior landlords), 2) current/past employment information, 3) photo ID, and 4) paystubs or proof of income covering the last 3 months. You will also need to provide a social security number issued by the U.S. Social Security Administration for purposes of running the background check. The application fee is $55 and covers third-party processing fees (ref: Code of Virginia 55.1-1203(C)). The application fee is non-refundable.
