This two-unit building was completely remodeled in 2014 and has been well cared for ever since. The apartment for rent is on the first floor and includes a full basement for storage. There is a washer/dryer provided in the basement. There are three separate entrances to the first floor, with one bedroom in the front and one in the rear. The third entrance is into the kitchen. This unit could be shared by two unrelated people, where each person would have their own entrance. The exterior of the building was given a facelift in the fall of '21. You really must see this space to appreciate it. We are looking for a tenant who will enjoy, care for, and respect the work that has been done to this property. Specifically, we are looking for applicants with the following qualifications: 1. The ability to maintain the property in its current condition 2. Good references 3. Adequate income to support the rent payments (approximately $3,900 monthly income) 4. Average or above average credit 5. The ability to be a good neighbor My family lives in this neighborhood and we are working very hard to make it the best neighborhood it can be. This includes buying and restoring distressed properties like the one you see here. We will take as much time as is required to find a tenant that we believe will be a positive force in the neighborhood and who will respect our property, the neighborhood, and the work that we've invested. This is a fantastic location less than a fifteen minute walk to Central Market, the Fulton, the galleries, and the fantastic bars/restaurants downtown. In addition, we are very attentive owners, and respond immediately if there is ever a problem with one of our dwellings. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee for each adult applicant. Sewer, water, and trash service are included in the rent. All other utilities are the tenant's responsibility. The heating system is an electric heat pump with central air. Range, refrigerator, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer are included. One off-street parking space is included in the rent. Owner pays sewer, water, trash. Tenant pays electric utility.
