The private kitchen is located in a spectacular Hunt Box a few steps from the suite: 20+ foot tall ceiling, wood-burning fireplace as part of an eat-in kitchen (includes a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, single burner, an oven/air fryer that can handle a hearty roast, a toaster, a prep area and a microwave). This 1930's stone home by a famed architect is in the heart of Virginia horse country. Expect to see deer and turkey wandering about. The guest wing has a private walk-out (and a lock-off from the main house.) Property is home to horses, chickens, cows, bunnies, and goats. There is a whole-house generator (for the suite), so you can weather storms. Within the suite, there is proper desk, executive-style chair and lamp as a dedicated workspace. The furnishings include antiques: an armoire, marble-top side tables. Finishings are stunning throughout. Parachute ceiling over 14', marble-drenched bathroom. Custom trims. The local community center boasts a nice, clean gym with a low, per-us minimum. There is also a 5star resort and spa (The Salamander) that you can access on an ala carte basis. Please appreciate that the rent includes all utilities, parking, and the grounds maintenance. Given these added values - the posted rate is the rate. All utilities are included - water, sewer, trash, electricity, propane. WIFI is available to be included, unless you prefer to get your own account. (We are happy to share - but understand if someone wants their own account at their cost.) Please note- the wifi covers the suite. The Hunt Box -- you'll understand when you see it - a magnificent, stone building, does not allow such things to penetrate it! Single occupancy only. Parking available a few steps away from your suite. No smoking, no vaping, no drugs, no "events" - no kidding! Please note this is an elegant, rustic unique option. The suite, foyer, and full bathroom are in one section of the Estate, while the kitchen with an eat-in space occupies a Hunt Box with an amazing vaulted ceiling (about 25 feet), which is also home to a wood-burning fireplace. This kind of living is rare. Our happiest tenants are those who seek a calm, beautiful place to restore and reflect once they finish work or frolicking elsewhere.
