The Black Rock Freight House building is a conversion from manufacturing to mixed-use development. It is home to 35 loft-style apartments with Bar and restaurant . The Brick Structure was built in 1901 and its primary use was to off load materials from trains traveling on Buffalo's Belt line. The one story building is located in the Southern Black Rock neighborhood, an area recently experiencing rejuvenation.The building has been re-purposed under the federal Preservation Guidelines and is now on the National Register for Historic Buildings.
