Freshly renovated 1st floor studio apartment. High ceilings in old building with storage spaces in unit. Walking distance to downtown. Good location, quiet building, decent neighborhood, easy access to Veterans Parkway. I live here too so I am a little pickier about tenants. I don't want to be friends but I do strive to be reasonable, professional, follow my end of the contract, communicate, take care of this property as a long term investment, and be a decent neighbor. That's what I'm looking for in a tenant also. I just want to be clear about expectations up front. No smoking inside except for marijuana. No hard drugs. If you think this would be a good fit for you tell me a bit about your situation; who you are such as public details and things I might know living next door to you, source of income, reason for moving, and anything else about why you think this would be a good fit. Rent includes all utilities; gas heat, gas stove, electric water, trash, AC provided with unit, building wifi from Metronet or get your own line easily, off street parking right next to private entrance, laundry on site, on site maintenance and upkeep by owner. No property management company to deal with! This is a studio apartment so it is only for one person to live in. Not really big enough for most pets, so no cats or dogs, if you have a lizard or a spider or something we could talk but definitely nothing loud please. Lease is structured for 6 month term then proceeding on month to month basis. First month and equal security deposit due at signing; total $1500 for move in and also expect you have at least 3x rent $2250/month verifiable income. Shorter term negotiable. Requires credit and background check but I'm willing to be flexible in some areas that others might not.
