This fully furnished 2bd/2ba condo has the best location in Longboat Harbor. It is a first floor unit with unobstructed views of Sarasota Bay and several mangrove islands. You might think it's better to have a third floor condo because you are higher up and can see more, but after enjoying this condo for the last year, we were so thankful to be on the first floor. There is always something fascinating to see looking out of the huge windows that face the bay, so we always keep a pair of binoculars within reach. You'll see dolphins swim right up to the sea wall which is 50 feet out your back door. You'll watch swans float around the mangroves, and ospreys feed on their catch as they perch on one of the wooden pier posts. When the low tide coincides with a full moon, the water can recede enough to uncover some marsh around the mangroves, and raccoons will wander out of the mangroves to dig for shellfish. You'll watch the manatee swim by with their young, and you'll watch fish jump every afternoon. When something interesting is happening, it is so convenient to just slide open the back door and be a part of it. That's what we like most about this condo. But there's much more. This is a gated community, so that both the main property and the beach access are private entry only. The building containing this condo is the closest to the community center with all the amenities, closest to one the 4 pools in the complex, closest to the bay side docks where you can see and walk to your boat. When you want a beach day, just pack up the wagon and walk across the street to the private deeded gulf beach for Longboat Harbor residents. Workout facility, putting green, pool tables, ping pong, social activities, fishing pier, kayak launch, etc. - the list goes on and on. Unfortunately, personal circumstances are preventing us from using this wonderful condo for the foreseeable future so we are offering it for rent. Please note that the pictures do not show some recent upgrades, such as new big screen TV, SS fridge, all new fans, etc. Pets are not allowed anywhere on the complex at anytime, and there is no smoking anywhere in the community. All utilities are included, except for electricity, which is provided by Florida Light and Power. Cable and internet are provided by Spectrum, and are also included. Tenant is responsible for background and credit check fee of $150 when applying for tenancy. Annual lease term may be negotiable, but minimum of 9 months required.
