Apartment in a 4 unit multi-family home in Pleasant Valley (Arlington Central School District), 3 minutes from James Baird State Park. 15 minutes from the Poughkeepsie train station and 30 minutes from the Beacon train station. Focused on fostering community between the 4 apartments. LGBTQ owned and we host events sporadically for the greater LGBTQ community on the property. Open House Sunday September 24th from 3-5pm. Large back and side yard. Room for a garden or 3. Private walking path in the woods and a pond to look out over. There is also a large barn that can be turned into common spaces in the next couple months. Pets are ok when renting a whole apartment, with a pet deposit, and on a case by case basis when renting a room - depending on roommate approval. Laundry is still being updated and installed, but will be up and running. by mid October. If you are interested in participating in the communal aspect, please mention that. Standard lease is 1 year, looking for something else can be considered on a case by case basis. Security deposit is one month's rent. Renter's insurance is required. No smoking. Vaping is ok and smoking outside is ok, so long as it does not go in neighbor's apartments. Utilities Water is free from a well. Renter pays for oil for heat and electricity for other utilities. Trash and internet can be split and shared between units if people agree. Pets Pets require an additional security deposit, mostly for a potential need to repair the apartment or refinish the floors. Must have pet liability insurance. No broker's fee.
