A 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo in Mountain Cove. This is an upstairs unit with high, vaulted ceilings with a tree house feel. All of the windows face north and west, so there is no annoying direct sunlight coming in, but plenty of pleasant, natural daylight and lovely views of the trees and sky. It's worth noting that the positioning of the windows protects your privacy. All windows have nice, slatted wooden blinds and the sliding doors to the private patio have adjustable blinds, as well. The patio is well shaded and comes equipped with a propane fueled barbecue and dangling egg chair. The front door was recently installed and it has an electronic keypad lock. The frame is properly sealed to keep your climatized air inside. This unit comes fully furnished, highlighted by a stylish and comfy sectional with a pullout bed, a stylish, modern work desk, and a 75 inch smart TV atop an electronic fireplace TV stand. The kitchen has a large butcher block island, perfect for cooking prep. There is a dishwasher under the butcher block and a food disposal in the sink. Both work great. The open floor layout makes the unit feel spacious. The bedroom is a good size and there is an en suite bathroom and walk-in shower with rain shower head. There are two large mirrored, sliding door closets in the unit for a good amount of storage space. There are two remote controlled, ceiling fans in the living room with lights and another in the bedroom to keep the air moving. The carpet in the bedroom is new and feels quite comfy to bare feet. And, the bathtub in the second bathroom has jacuzzi jets! Mountain Cove is very peaceful. It is accessed through a guarded gate, and it's just far enough away from the noise of Hwy 111. The complex sits next to the magnificent mountains, which also serve to majorly reduce the impact of the periodic high winds we experience in the desert. While the location feels exotic and serene, it is a mere 5 minute drive to a great many shops, stores, and restaurants including Vons, Trader Joes, Petco, Lowes, In n Out, Okura Sushi, Aldi, Target, and a giant Cineplex. Public transportation users will like to know there is a bus stop right outside the security gate on 111. And It's a mere 15 minute bike ride to the Indian Wells golf resort and to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The complex offers 3 community pools and shared laundry rooms with coin operated machines. If you should prefer to move your own things into the condo for a lengthy stay, that can be negotiated. My wife and I live in Mountain Cove year round, a 5 minute walk should emergencies arise. Owner pays the water bill. There is no natural gas, so the tenant pays for electricity and internet and your streaming services of choice. Smoking is not permitted. You would be entitled to two uncovered, unreserved parking spots. Length of tenancy may vary on a case by case basis, but the rental rate stated is for a 12 month lease, followed by month to month. Every adult who lives in the rental including both members of a married or unmarried couple will be named as tenants and sign the lease or rental agreement. Each tenant is legally responsible for paying the full amount of rent and following all other terms of the lease or rental agreement. Only the tenants and their minor children are allowed to reside in the rental, and guests may stay no longer than 3 days The security deposit is to cover unpaid rent or repair damage the tenant causes, and won't be accepted in lieu of last month's rent. It is the tenants' responsibility to maintain clean and sanitary premises and to pay for any damage they cause (excluding normal wear and tear)
