We are looking for a mature, financially stable compatible renter to share our wonderful home. This furnished unit is a separate south-facing pool-side ground-level apartment with its own entrance and multiple picture windows, located in a very private million $ estate in the exclusive North Shore Columbia river neighborhood near I-205 and SR-14. Located just minutes away from PeaceHealth and Kaiser, in one of the best school districts in the greater Portland area, this is also about as close to Portland as you can get, without being in Portland! We rent month-to-month but would prefer someone who plans to stay at least six months. This south-facing pool-side unit has a 275 sq ft well-insulated master bedroom with king bed and seasonal river views. There's a well-equipped kitchen with recent Samsung fridge and lots of counter space, light and bright living room with electric fireplace, and bathroom equipped with shower and tub. You'll have access to the dedicated w/d laundry and extra storage on the same level, as well as a huge summer-use in-ground 20 x 40 swimming pool, regulation doubles tennis court, and walking paths to the nearby Jane Weber Arboretum and the Columbia River. The second 140 sq ft unfurnished bedroom also has south facing windows and large closet or you can use it as a very private office. High-speed 300mb/s wireless and hardwired internet with excellent coverage is on the premises. Power, filtered water, garbage, and internet are included. PeaceHealth and Kaiser are just up the hill, the spectacular new Vancouver downtown waterfront, and NE or downtown Portland are just minutes away. The owners are self-employed professional consultants living in the upper levels of this 5600 sq ft three-story home on a private estate off of SE Evergreen Highway. We lead a quiet, low-key lifestyle other than occasional pool parties and social get-togethers, usually during the summer months. We are personal health and fitness adherents and are sensitive to air quality, so this is a 100% no smoking / no vaping household, and no strong smelling perfumes, incense, harsh cleaning products, overly pungent cooking oils, etc. are allowed. We also value privacy and quiet. There is one sweet outdoor cat on the premises. The apartment is available on October 15th, 2023. Move-in requires a background check, personal interview, and first-month rent plus a $600 deposit. Looking forward to meeting with you! Month to month rental using standard lease terms, six months minimum is preferred. Annual rent review, we generally raise rents only by the amount of inflation. Renter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the apartment and for any damages created by you or your guests. You must sign a liability waiver to use the pool, tennis court, or other outdoor facilities.
