Built out of Cross Laminated Timber or CLT which is a Eco-friendly, large-scale, prefabricated wood panel. It is lightweight, strong and boasts superior fire, seismic, and thermal performance. CLT is a sustainable building material and can help build a brighter sustainable future. With our completely modular design, this allows us to create safe and affordable housing that has very minimal site disturbance. The Blockhouse modular design is flexible and adaptable, making nontraditional build sites perfect matches for the Blockhouse. This blockhouse has a complete kitchenette with stove/oven, fridge, microwave, and a large stainless steel sink. There is a washer&dryer combo located in the kitchenette as well. Every unit has a Mitsubishi split system that controls all heating and cooling. Walk in glass door showers along with lots of storage in the full sized bathroom.
