Located 20 miles south of Captain Cook town on the west side of Hawaii Island. We are 45 min to 1 hour south of Kailua Town. Solar off grid cabin, unfurnished catchment water, this is a quiet, spacious, 13 plus acre organic homestead in south kona (almost as far south as milolii). We are looking for high vibrational, quiet and conscious people who want to make this place their sanctuary. There are 4 separate residences on 3 the lower 3 acres. Each space is private and entirely stand alone. They are separated but near enough to provide a community/helping/sharing feel if desired. As steward of the aina for the past 20+ years, I have put love and care into creating, growing and cultivating organic food and sustainable living. I take pride in taking care of the land and homes on the property and desire people who value that. The farm allows me to help others develop the skills to live sustainably, including organic farming, permaculture and off grid living. Living spaces are provided for privacy along with a community feel. As you can see from the pictures the land and living spaces are maintained in a clean, mindful, organized and conscious way. Our water source is 100% rainwater catchment Cabin is 100% solar *Serene 13+ acre organic avocado and macnut farm with an abundance of tropical fruit trees, veggies, herbs, flowers & berries. *Perfect year-round climate, at 1600 ft. above sea level on the side of Mauna Loa Volcano *The farm is a working organic farm, therefore farm work may be occurring during your stay, but again, your privacy is fully respected. 4 miles from the closest place to jump in the ocean 15-minutes to Ho'okena Beach State Park for sunbathing and swimming with dolphins 20-minute drive brings you to the famous Pu'uhonua o'Honaunau (Place of Refuge) National Historic Park and Kealakekua Bay where you can kayak to Captain Cook's monument and snorkel with an endless variety of tropical fish and sea turtles & dolphins. 65 miles from Madame Pele's live action at Volcanos National Park 12 miles from KulaKai Caverns and Manuka State Park. Light hiking on the property where you can enjoy seeing all sorts of Hawaii's wildlife and plants. $1600/month for 1-2 people plus Hawaii state sales tax. This is a solar cabin .
