Pet-friendly 1-bedroom / 1-bathroom first floor condo for rent in the Mountain Shadows complex in Mammoth Lakes. I've lived in Mammoth in this condo for the past 6 years and just moved to Bishop so I'm hoping to rent this condo to a local or new-to-town person or couple. Winter-only lease at this point (November 6-April 1) but may be able to extend after that, TBD. The condo is about 700 square feet and laid out really nicely for 1-2 people. Has a dishwasher, pellet stove (+ electric wall heaters), in-unit washer/dryer, nice natural light in the winter, small porch, appliances all updated in the past couple of years. Small lockable ski closet right outside the entrance door. On-site trash and recycling bins. The unit will be partially furnished with 3-person dining table, desk, couch and dresser. Daybed in the living room and king bed/frame are open to discussion to move or stay. Parking passes for two cars in large parking lot provided. The condo HOA handles all snow removal except digging out your cars and whatever falls onto the porch/occasionally the entryway. The complex is a mix of local owners/renters, second homeowners, and short term rentals but typically a pretty quiet complex. Parking is rarely an issue. The complex has three shared hot tubs/saunas. Condo is very close to the red bus line up to Main Lodge and the green bus line up to Eagle Lodge. Landlord/owner covers water, trash/recycling, and complex snow removal fees. Tenant is responsible for electric, wood pellets for pellet stove, and internet. Option to move utilities into tenant's name or set up as a monthly bill back based on usage (statements provided). I've been paying $105/month for internet and $150-200ish/month for electricity plus whatever I spend on pellets. Highest monthly electricity bill last winter was $217. Additional $600 pet deposit required if you have pets.
