This is a very nice & well-maintained historic building overlooking downtown Olympia. People move in and stay because you have very nice landlords & thoughtful neighbors. This rental has a lot of natural light - it has eight-foot high windows (insulated shades on all windows) and 12' high ceilings. The rental is a well-insulated and secure (completely restored) historic building near downtown Olympia. It's well-maintained by the landlord with quiet and courteous neighbors. Landlord pays water, sewer, and garbage. They also pay your hot water bill! Private parking is included in the rental price. There is a minimum one-year lease. You may also park on the street in front of the building with a low-cost annual city permit. The city bus stops directly across the street from the building. This building has a big front porch and a landscaped yard in front. There is an attached, locked storage shed for storage of bicycles, tires, etc. This rental has a full kitchen and full bathroom with oak-style flooring-- this space is very clean. Appliances and carpet are relatively new. The full bathroom has a shower and tub. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted outside. This space has gas heat and the apartment is well-insulated. Heat bills are very reasonable. The building is on the National Register for Historic Places and is truly a great, comfortable place to call home. This apartment is ideal for someone who works or goes to school full time -- it is a quiet place to live. People who tend to party should not apply for this apartment. The building has a locked, secure front entrance; locked mailboxes; thoughtful, considerate neighbors; and a coin-op laundry on site. You are close enough to downtown Olympia to enjoy the urban life but far enough away from the downtown core to be away from most city noise while enjoying your own space when you need it. The building is a quick walk to state agencies located near the State Capitol.
