Come join me on the eastern skirt of Spivey Mountain with views toward downtown Asheville. (These views do disappear in the summer when the forest pushes out her verdant curtain of leaves). Anyway, we are at the end of Laurie Lane with 3 friendly families as neighbors. My place is a 1970 cabin in the woods. In 1997 the owners before me finished out the first floor. This is a large one bedroom with possibilities. There is a spacious well equipped kitchen- fridge, range/oven, 2 small rooms and a den and the kitchen. One bathroom. There is a shared utility room with full sized washer and dryer. Glass windows/doors cover the entire east wall into the thick forest beyond. Utilities would be shared fairly- gas, electric, WiFi/Internet (or you can provide your own). We are on a well, so no charge there but conservative use works best. There is a large wooden deck outside with picnic table and fire pit. I have dogs- a 14 y/o chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, Hennessey, and an 8 month old red Lab puppy, Mary, who is in training and will one day graduate, but for now she's in full puppy mode. Your pets, well trained and friendly will be welcome too. I'm gone much of the winter but am here most of the summer. If you like the outdoors you'll love this place. Contact me for a tour soon. Unfurnished except for basic appliances- w/d, stove/oven, refrigerator/ freezer. Renter pays share of internet/WiFi, trash pickup and electricity. Non- smokers only. Pets must be friendly, quiet and well trained. References required. Water from a well on property and should be conserved.
