This apartment is the first floor of a two-family home in the Pondside neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. 20 minute walk to Green St. Station, 5 minute walk to buses and "downtown" JP a vibrant community of small shops and restaurants. Just steps to the Emerald Necklace highlights of the Arnold Arboretum and Jamaica Pond. Fresh paint, hardwood floors, with new washer/dryer and fridge. On street parking (no permit needed, plenty of space) No smoking or vaping of any kind on property (inside or out) No cats The owners (and their dog Otis) live upstairs this is their only rental unit, so "landlording" is not our main job! We are looking for quiet, friendly, helpful tenants who communicate clearly and in a timely way. We are responsible for snow removal, but if we are away we would appreciate someone willing to pitch in if needed. Ability to do small repairs (reimbursed by us) etc. a plus. This is a great neighborhood, with wonderful neighbors. We are looking to maintain a comfortable environment for our tenants, as well as for ourselves. Owner pays for water. Renter covers all other utilities (gas, oil, electric). First months rent and security required.
