Live in the "pyramid house" - one of the most unique homes in the Durango area. It sits on 24 incredible acres in a gated community, with lots of wildlife and great views. It has a copper covered roof and was originally built off the grid but is now hooked to the grid. Very light and airy. Five miles to hospital, and 12 miles to town. Great well and water storage. The three bedroom, two bathroom apartment is on the upper level (there is a two bedroom apartment is below). Bonus sun room, garden in backyard, and amazing hatch to the top of the pyramid. Dogs and cats are ok with a $200 pet deposit, per pet. Four wheel drive (or AWD) is required for winter driveway conditions. Tenants are responsible to haul the trash cans from the house down to the main road. Updated photos coming soon. INTERESTED IN THIS RENTAL? The first step is to schedule a showing. We require applicants to see the property in person. Once you have seen the property, please submit one application and a $40 application fee for EACH adult who will be a tenant. Children under 18 do not need to apply. We do not take credit card payments or online payments at this time, only cash or check. Applications can be submitted online (via our website) or on paper, but you must pay the application fees to the office with a copy of your drivers license. If you want to drop off anything after hours, utilize the drop box outside our office - just make sure to label payments with your name and the rental address. Once we have ALL applications, we will process them and let you know whether you are approved. Thank you for your interest!
