The Balsam Cottage shares the lot with the Balsam home. This furnished spacious one bedroom, one bath private unit that is completely self-sufficient. It has its own parking, washer/dryer, and has direct access to the pool. It is located in Bakersfield, CA in the desirable neighborhood near Garces High School. The surroundings are serene and beautiful. On a hot summer day, the pool in the backyard can provide a break from the heat. This furnished house is located 2.9 miles from Kern Medical, 1.5 miles from Memorial Hospital, 2.8 miles from Adventist Hospital, 3.6 miles from Mercy Hospital Downtown. MedBed is a shared housing solution built around the needs of medical professionals. Our property has 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each room is available for a 4-week schedule (min). The living room, kitchen, and bathrooms are shared. The home is tailored to medical professionals so identification is required. Each room has its own distinct key to ensure that personal items are secure, some of the rooms have a private entrance, own sitting area with a pull out sofa. A cleaning service is provided ($60 every 4 weeks). Each tenant will be provided with basic toiletries throughout their stay every 4 weeks. No deposit is required. Wifi/utilities are covered. It is expected that you treat our MedBed home as you would treat your own.
