There's lots to see and do, but it's still nice and quiet at night, even on the weekends. Two grocery stores -- Yes and Safeway -- are within walking distance, and the metro is a ten-minute walk away. The summer brings the local farmers' market and the Petworth Jazz Project (free monthly jazz concerts). Four playgrounds are within walking distance, including the brand-new Taylor Street playground with splash pad. All in all, this is just a fabulous place to live! Great for young professionals and families. Renter will pay for gas and electric, as well as cable and Internet service if desired. No smoking.
