Hidden Oaks Cottage is a new, fully furnished cottage with high ceilings and large windows. All utilities (including high-speed internet) are included, and flexible lease options are available. The cottage is a stand-alone building; it does not share walls with any other house. While very quiet and private, the cottage is also centrally located, one block away from Bayou Texar, five minutes to downtown, and ten minutes to the airport, mall, as well as Baptist and Sacred Heart hospitals. The windows look out to gorgeous live oak canopies dripping with Spanish moss. You will love living here! The kitchen has quartz countertops and is fully furnished with upscale, brand-new appliances, cookware, and dishware. It is stocked with all the tools you might need to cook a gourmet meal, including a selection of condiments, herbs, and spices. You will find a French press with an electric grinder and a Keurig. Off of the kitchen is a closet with a full-sized washer and dryer. The main bedroom boasts a gorgeous velvet bed with designer linens and fresh pillows. Bedside reading lamps, a deluxe velvet chair, and a darling dresser will make you feel at home. Blackout curtains line the windows, so feel free to sleep as late as you like! The second bedroom has a well-appointed daybed - the perfect place to cuddle up with a book or nestle in for a beautiful night's sleep. The daybed has a trundle that extends into a king-size bed for more sleeping space. Between the two bedrooms is a large Jack-and-Jill bathroom. It boasts a gorgeous marble walk-in shower along with a large walk-in closet. Stroll one block to the beautiful waters of Bayou Texar and two or three blocks to various restaurants and coffee shops. One off-street parking spot is reserved for you directly in front of the cottage at the end of a shared driveway. This cottage is in a tranquil spot and is best suited for one or two people and no pets. Available December 5th, 2023. Owner pays all utilities and maintains yard. Shared driveway allows for only one car at the cottage. Absolutely no smoking, gatherings or parties of any kind are allowed. Renters must submit application and pass credit and background check.
