Welcome to your private mountain escape! Walk out your door and enjoy over 12,000 acres of private hiking trails that are exclusively accessible to Mt. Vernon Canyon Club. In addition to hiking, you will find some of the country's most famous gravel, mountain, and road biking in the immediate area. This includes the Lookout Mountain Road climb, Apex trail, Squaw Pass, and Mount Vernon Canyon gravel roads. Conveniently located close to I-70, you'll have the option of making the short drive east into Denver or heading west to enjoy everything the Rocky Mountains have to offer. The apartment is located on the backside of our house with a private driveway and patio. There is a full kitchen, living room, fireplace, washer/dryer, full bath, large closet, and a king size bed. Enjoy views and natural light through your expansive windows, all with complete privacy. You'll be 15 minutes from catching a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater and just 30 minutes from our closest ski slope, Loveland Ski Area. There are also 4 other ski resorts within an hour of us: Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapaho Basin, and Winter Park. We would love to recommend any hiking, camping, mountain biking, climbing, and sightseeing throughout this amazing state! My wife and I love living in Colorado and enjoying all it has to offer. We live here with our 3 adorable dogs, Chance, Scout, and Moxie. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate more dogs, so no dogs are allowed in the rental. We look forward to the possibility of sharing this beautiful canyon with you. Private mountain retreat with beautiful, private hiking trails. You'll have your own private driveway, entrance, and porch overlooking a beautiful wooded area that is frequented by deer and elk. All utilities will be $200/month, making the total per month $1850. This includes electrical/gas, trash/recycling, WiFi, AppleTV, water, and access to private hiking trails.
