And don't worry about leaving your furry friends behind, as we allow cats and dogs under 25lbs with pet deposit, and pet rent. We do have an 1800 square foot enclosed pet park for our tenants to let their pets run. Our apartments come with a range of utilities included, such as high-speed internet, solar energy, water, sewer, and trash. Coin-operated laundry and storage are available on-site for your convenience. At School House Apartments, we accept multiple payment methods including EFT, cash, and check for rent payments. Our location in the heart of Fort Madison places you near the Mississippi River and many amenities, making it easy for you to enjoy everything this charming city has to offer. For new renters, we require an application, background check, first month's rent, one-month rent as a deposit, and a one-year lease. We also conduct a criminal history check and require references. Our units operate on solar power, which means most of your heat and air bills are eliminated unless you have excessive usage.
