A Pacific Northwest Villa Imagine a special place at the end of a long driveway with 200 feet of beach on the Hood Canal with water that warms in the summer sun enough that you'll want to join the visiting sea otters for a swim off the dock. Back up and away from the beach, follow the stream up the hill to find a serene house tucked in a wood with views from the kitchen and dining tables of the Olympic mountains on the other side of a water that even when still reveals itself in various forms never the same. Such a place as this is where poetry was written for over 50 years in a home that was designed by an award-winning architect. The poet dies. His family want to keep the home but it can't just sit empty and it will be years before they can return. Reluctantly they decide to find a tenant. Perhaps another writer who might enjoy the tranquility of an autumn rain while a fire burns in the majestic fireplace. Well, I was this poet's student many years ago and I've offered to help find such a tenant. Please note that the address provided is not the exact address of the property in the pictures. It is actually the address of the Seabeck General Store about 5 miles down the road. This home is looking for the right tenant. The right tenant must have an income three times the asking rent, a credit score above 750, impeccably good taste, and not be afraid of the occasional mouse in the house or deer in the yard. Rent includes water from the stream above, basic yard care. Internet service can be had by SkyNet. Please contact me for more details and to arrange a viewing. Gary No smokers please, small pets ok. One or two year lease please.
