Our home is the ultimate New Orleans getaway, located just one short block from the French Quarter in the highly desirable Marigny Triangle neighborhood. One of the great New Orleans live jazz clubs is a block away, and the famed Frenchmen Street live music district is just a short four-block walk away. Crescent Park on the Mississippi River is just up the street. *This beautiful & fully furnished home is available as a MONTHLY (1-month min) rental from July 10th, 2023 until Oct 15th, 2023.* Originally built in the 1840s, the beautiful and historic Creole Cottage underwent a full renovation, completed in 2015. The house combines historic charm with modern comforts and is chock full of local art. It is equipped with all the amenities one would expect in a luxurious home, including a king memory foam bed and an elegant primary suite. In addition, there are two queen memory foam mattress beds, one trundle bed in the upstairs office/exercise space, and one Murphy bed in the TV room. Each bedroom has its own full bath. You will enjoy the tranquility and privacy of a lovely courtyard with a lush garden. Lovers of New Orleans' renowned music, food, architecture, and culture will love this neighborhood, which is steeped in history. Mule-drawn carts clip-clop past the front door, and you can hear the steamboats on the Mississippi River and the occasional brass band leading a Second Line parade down a nearby street on Sunday afternoons. Quieter than the French Quarter, the Marigny is still vibrant with a lot of foot traffic. No need to drive anywhere if you don't want to--with a 92 Walk Score and an 88 Bike Score, you're close to everything. The owner's 2 bikes are available for longer jaunts. Min stay 30 days. No pets (sorry, owner has extreme allergy). No smoking, no candles (electric candles are ok). Space for 1 car in the attached garage. 2 bikes available come 'as-is' and ongoing bike maintenance is the responsibility of the renter. No parties, or noise disturbances. For the safety of our guests and our home, we do utilize external cameras. Landlord shall be responsible for arrangements and fees related to the use of electricity with Entergy of New Orleans up to $250 per month and the use of water from the Sewage and Water Board of New Orleans up to $150 per month. Tenant shall be responsible for any fees in excess of $250 on the monthly invoice from Entergy of New Orleans and $150 monthly from Sewage and Water Board of New Orleans, and shall reimburse Landlord within fifteen (15) days of the due date noted on the invoice due to Entergy and Sewage and Water Board of New Orleans. Landlord shall be responsible for arrangements and all fees related to the remaining utility services on the Premises including sewerage and water, waste and recycling collection, wireless internet, and yard maintenance. A one-time cleaning fee of $230 is deducted from the security deposit per stay. Additional cleanings can be arranged during your stay for an additional charge.
