This furnished home has beautiful unobstructed views of Flagstaff and the Flatirons and yet is only a 5 minute drive to Pearl Street (or 15 minute walk). There is a large yard with a fenced, flagstone patio. The lot extends from 7th Street down the hill to 6th Street. It's two blocks from Chautauqua, near hiking trails, and Flagstaff mountain. The home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in one of Boulder's most exclusive residential areas . Next door is the historic Scott Carpenter house. There are rarely any homes for rent in this area. Since it is three blocks west of 9th Street, the neighborhood is peaceful with little traffic. Deer often stroll through the backyard. The house was built in 1906 and has a warm feel with lovely heart pine floors. The ceilings in some rooms are 9 feet high with crown moldings in the living room. The home is furnished, however, some of the smaller pieces can be stored. The large, covered front porch is big enough for entertaining in the summer and fall. The master bedroom looks out at Flagstaff from a large picture window. The FAU is three years old and provides very efficient heating. The master bedroom has a brand new mini-split unit which provides air conditioning as well as heating. The kitchen has a separate eating area with built in corner cabinets. The gas stove is a vintage Roper and works well. The washer and dryer are in the basement. The lease length is negotiable as long as it is at least 9 months. Renter pays utilities, trash,and water. Owner pays for lawn service biweekly. Pets are possible depending on the pet and with an additional pet deposit. I prefer non-smokers.
