This property is a 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom center-stair colonial house (built 1996), located in a quiet neighborhood off Oregon Pike in Manheim Township. It would make a living arrangement for a couple or a family with children. It features a back deck and yard, a play structure for children, central AC, and a finished basement. There are also small garden patches around the yard which have perennial sage, thyme, Greek oregano, raspberry, mint, lavender, and cherries. There is space for planting of annuals as well. It is located steps away from the Landis Valley Museum (an outdoor farm museum) and the Hands-On House (a children's museum), as well as a shopping plaza with restaurants, shops, and a gym. It is also located in Manheim Township School District, Nitrauer School catchment, one of the best public-school districts in the area. It is within walking distance of a Red Rose bus line, a short drive from routes 222, 283, 30 highways, and from the Lancaster train station. It is also a short (10-15 minute) drive into Lancaster city or to nearby public parks, pools, and libraries. Owners have previously occupied the property but will be relocating due to a change in our work. But we love this house and are looking for great tenants who will love it just as much as we have! We are happy to rent the property with partial furnishing or unfurnished. Small pets and cats are OK. Dogs will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Water/sewer/trash are included in rent. Owners require continued use the unfinished part of the basement and the small attic room as long-term storage for our items (there is plenty of other storage space in the house). Owners ask tenant(s) to mow lawn and do basic maintenance tasks and yard work as needed. If you are willing to do so, we will reduce the rent to $2800/mo. Otherwise the rent is $3000/mo. Terms and dates of lease somewhat flexible. We are still living in the property until September 17. After we move out, it will be professionally cleaned prior to move in on 9/20. We are also scheduling some touch up painting and small repairs that should be done before or soon after move in. We are happy to arrange tours, if you are interested in the property.
