2 bedroom, 1 bath house in Woodfin available for year-long lease. This is a family-owned property, so no dealing with awful corporate landlords. We're locals here to Asheville. The place was renovated last year, so the fridge, washer/dryer and hot water heater are all new. Heat pump and central AC. The layout is fairly simple - long galley kitchen with a breakfast nook, living room with bonus unheated sunroom attached, a full bathroom, and two bedrooms, each with decent sized closets. There's a carport with room to park two cars, and a separate shed with power/outlets. Access to the shed is included in the lease. Location is close to 19/23 (exit 23) and is convenient to lots of things in North Asheville, Woodfin and Weaverville. The house is located down a sloped driveway, so there's a nice privacy to the property. The yard has been an ongoing project, and is the one area that's not in brand new condition. We've been working to eradicate bamboo and will have landscapers coming to the property once/twice a month until it's finally resolved. (Side note: never plant bamboo). Still, even with that, there's nice outdoor space along the front porch and, as landscaping continues, around the house in general. The lease starts December 1st (or possibly earlier), and I'll be taking applications until we find the right fit. After reaching out, please make sure to complete the next steps in the rental application. Rent is $1,550, $50 extra / month approved pet fee. The one stipulation, which is also mentioned in the rental description, is that we will be doing landscaping/bamboo removal work around the home once or twice a month. We will give plenty of advanced notice when this happens. Tenant is responsible for all utilities and upkeep of the driveway/front of house area.
