This property is located within a five-minute walk of the Downhill Ski Area in Tahoe Donner. The house has a Cathedral style roof with large windows and plenty of natural light. No house directly next to the property (green belt on two sides and empty lot on another) so privacy and quiet are a big part of the appeal to this space. There are two decks (one in the front and one in the back) and a covered carport. The garage is going to be used for owner's storage, but the washer and dryer are available in that space. There are two parking spots in the driveway. The driveway is somewhat steep, so highly recommended that you have a car that is 4-wheel drive and/or snow tires or studs. If you are not comfortable driving in the snow, this house may not be for you. There are three full bedrooms. The primary has a California King bed. The second room has a queen-sized bed. The final room has two twins. There is also a large landing at the top of the staircase that has a futon and TV. It comes fully furnished, but that can be negotiated to a degree. There is a wood stove in the main living area that heats the house pretty well. Owner is seeking a 7-10 month lease. 10/7/23-4/7/24 to 7/7/24 Owner pays for water and Wifi. Renter pays for gas, garbage, electricity and water. Owner is open to shorter lease, but the terms may change. Renter will be responsible for shovelling the snow from the front deck and contracting a driveway plow service (Owner has contacts). This is a no smoking house. Pets are not allowed, but this can be discussed with owner. Tahoe Donner has rules about parking, lights and noise that will need to be agreed upon before lease begins. Violation of these can lead to termination of lease.
