My host was wonderful, and gave me the run of the home with the exception of her private spaces. I spent many mornings outside drinking coffee, working and watching the wildlife on the canal. there is a large, spacious kitchen, with all the amenities. there are TVs in the queen bedroom, and a massive HD television in the main sitting area. The house is great for entertaining, with options both indoor and outdoor on a deck overlooking the canal. there is a full washer and dryer and plenty of storage available in the bedrooms as well as extra in the garage as needed. The neighborhood is fabulous, quiet but active. there are many great neighbors who go out of their way to be friendly. In addition to the security fee, the first and last months rent, pet deposit and cleaning fee are required. Smoking is permitted on the deck only. All utilities are the responsibility of the renter (electric, water, internet). Lawn care and pest control will be provided. After 10 p.m. the outside is a quiet zone. The deck at water's edge is shared and can be used based on the portion allotted to the rental home. Home is to be maintained and kept in the condition it is received. Pets are acceptable with owner's approval. A tenant may have one pet, and maintain only one pet during the lease. Dogs must be walked on the street and picked up after. On the deck dogs must be kept on the deck area and not allowed to wander onto neighbor's property. Flea protection for all pets is a must. Dogs must have a license. Furniture is to be protected from pets (i.e. wet paws, pets nails). There is a $500 refundable pet fee. This home is available for a 4 month to one year lease. Background checks will be performed. The cost is the responsibility of the tenant.
