We are embarking on a five-month-long adventure and will be renting out our beautiful 3-bedroom unit at Touchstone Cohousing. Whether you wish to experience the vibrant cohousing community lifestyle before making a long-term commitment, or you are visiting Ann Arbor for a single semester, this is the perfect place for you. Our end unit boasts the most desirable location, offering captivating views of a picturesque wooded area. This well-maintained 3-bedroom, 2-bath contemporary townhouse features bamboo flooring in the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and comes fully furnished with everything you could possibly need. We have three children, so you'll find an abundance of books, toys, board games, Lego sets, crafts, and musical instruments to enhance your cozy stay. Additionally, our finished basement is flooded with natural light, thanks to its high ceiling and large windows. Outside, you'll find a lovely wide front porch and a beautiful back balcony. Our community is located away from traffic and has beautiful views of fields and woods and lots of walking-distance paths through woods and ponds. Nature abounds, yet we are only minutes away from downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. One of my favorite places, Saginaw Forest, is just a short walk away. Right outside your door, you'll discover pedestrian walkways (ideal for kids to roam safely), a painted obstacle course, a playground, courtyards, recreational areas, a playfield, a community garden, and much more for both adults and children to explore. Touchstone is renowned for being an exceptionally kid-friendly community with fantastic neighbors. We are flexible with the rental dates and can tailor our time away to accommodate your needs. Currently, we plan to vacate end of December or the beginning of January with our absence spanning 5 months. However, our unit is available for shorter or longer durations as required. The monthly rent is $2,200, which includes utilities and internet access, except DTE. If you are interested or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
