The Truckee Treehouse, with mature tall aspens right off the deck, is a single story private townhome with two bedroom and two full bathrooms. The location in beautiful Truckee is very convenient just off Interstate 80 and Highway 89 less than 5 minutes to old town Truckee 5 minutes to Donnor Lake - 10 minutes to Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows - 20 minutes to Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe. Major supermarkets including Grocery Outlet, drug store, natural foods market and numerous restaurants are all within walking distance or a drive of less than 5 minutes. There is a one car garage plus additional parking in the driveway, and a covered path and stairs to the front door on the 2nd floor landing. NO need for a snow shovel! The homeowners association does an excellent job of snow removal in the very early morning hours. Built in 2006 with very nice amenities including a great pool, jacuzzis and a gym. I have furnished my townhome with comfort in mind and high end decor and tasteful touches. Both bedrooms have new and very comfortable beds a king in the master and a queen in the guest bedroom. The townhome can very comfortably accommodate two couples or a small family. Fireplace, fast Wifi, two TVs with Roku, washer / dryer, ski locker. Reclining Sofa. Fully furnished kitchen including cookware, dishes, utensils, paper goods, silverware, glasses & cups, some pantry items, cleaning supplies. Fully furnished bedding and towels. NO need to bring anything except your suitcase. I enjoy finding the nicest, most comfortable furnishings for my guests. I can be your 'concierge' with suggestions if you are new to the area. There are local menus and guides in the townhome, as well as a collection of Tahoe books and magazines. I rented my home near Tahoe City on VRBO for 20 years and consistently had 5 star reviews. We enjoy taking a walk along a very peaceful and flat trail that starts at the pool area and goes by 5 or 6 small Lakes that are habitat for migrating water birds, including rare white pelicans and snow geese. We enjoy kayaking on both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe. My favorites hike is 10-12 minutes away in Alpine Meadows. I find walking along the Truckee River close by is good for the soul, just to contemplate the movement of water over age old rocks. Also, each season in Truckee/Tahoe is unique and has it's own charm and beauty. Leases for 6 months - 1 year preferred. My home is fully furnished. Absolutely NO smoking inside or outside anywhere on the property. Indoor pets are fine. Dogs must be on a lease absolutely at all times. $300 of the security deposit is non-refundable as a cleaning deposit. Maximum occupancy 2 adults + 2 children under the age of 18 OR 3 adults. Any violation of these requirements will immediately terminate the lease, and tenant must vacate within 24 hours. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Absolutely NO parties. NO barbecuing on the deck (fire safety). No more than two vehicles. Tenants are responsible for any damage to furnishings or furniture. Tenants are asked to leave the townhome in a clean condition and to report any repairs that should be taken care of.
